The 4 strict no-nos for a perfect positive morning

Updated: Mar 22, 2021

Every day, we wake up to a fresh new beginning, and all of us want a 'perfect today.' In this short write up, I will be telling you about the 4 don'ts for a perfect, positive and confident morning.

YOU SNOOZE,YOU LOSE

The tendency to snooze your alarm when it rings in the morning is a very normal phenomenon. And that blissful sleep for the next 5-10 minutes is peaceful and comfortable. Nevertheless, remember that snoozing your alarm is the first negative step that you take that day. The impact of this shows up in your daily performance, confidence and concentration. A better way to avoid this is keeping your alarm clock at least 5 feet from your bed.

2. THE NO PHONE ZONE

This is very important for the younger generation. Do not look up notifications in your phone for about 90 minutes after you have stretched and moved out of your bed. This is because the mind is in need of fresh positive vibes and channelising your energy to technology as soon as you have woken up will impair your neurological function. Instead, listen to good music, exercise or take a walk in your locality. This gears you up for the day and makes the morning positive.

3. NO COMPLAINING

Do not complain about theday, for instance, "This day is too cold"or "This day is very boring." This is because negativity gets into your brain thrice easily than does positivity. So,use affirmations of gratitude and hope to charge yourself. Something along the lines of "Thank you Universe for the wonderful day you have gifted me" will work.

4. NO BAD NEWS

Do not read any negative news or reviews as you begin your day. Skip the bad content, eead something useful, informative or innovative that will aid in your personal or professional growth.

Every day is a fresh page. To make your book a bestseller, write positively and confidently.
