DOWN THE MEMORY LANE ON DOCTORS' DAY 2021

That first wow moment at medical school was when I got my first white coat. Adding to the happiness were Littman stethoscopes gifted by family, friends and doctor acquaintances.

Passing first prof was not a cakewalk but life changed drastically after that. Many of my friends started addressing me as 'doctor'. Some of them started sharing their reports and test results with me. Some started asking me doubts regarding their illnesses. Some of the senior doctors in my hometown helped a lot in my journey as a medical student.

The moments of extreme happiness and bliss are when people come and thank me, telling, "Doctor, your tablet worked wonders and I'm feeling much better." I just mumble a silent prayer and look up to the Heavens. For, they say, God cannot be everywhere so he made doctors. And I'm blessed to be one among them.

Breaking one's head at the dissection table

To successfully treating the patient."
