Boosting immunity during Covid

One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well. Hope you are finding my posts about diet useful. This post is about 5 basic food items that will assist your immune systems in the combat against the deadly Covid-19:

1. TURMERIC

Turmeric regulates the blood glucose levels, helps maintain bone health and improves memory and brain function.


2. GOOSEBERRIES

Gooseberries contain vitamin C, hence a good option to boost your immunity. These detoxify your body and frees it of toxins and free radicals.


3. MUSHROOM


Mushrooms boosts the production of the immune cells in our body, the white blood cells.


4. GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLES

These contain folate, which, in addition to boosting immunity, helps in cell division and repair of the genetic material.


5. BROCCOLI

Broccoli is a repository of various nutrients and antioxidants. Eating broccoli helps decrease the bad cholesterol levels in your blood.
